I drive by this shop almost every day so when it was time for a quote on a timing belt for my 03 beetle, I figured I’d stop by and see all the cool stuff that was parked outside. Met Bill and his awesome doggy, and could immediately tell he not only knew his stuff and still seemed passionate about working on these older VWs. He gave me a rough estimate, and being that this was my second time around in a 1.8t, it was actually a really competitive price… but I didn’t really bother shop it. Conveniently, about two weeks later I come out to find all of the coolant sitting under my beetle… water pump gave up. Called bill, told him the situation, and he was able to make a spot for me. I threw another bottle of coolant in and limped the sad beetle over. I expected this to be at least a 3-5 day affair… but to my surprise, while at work the next day, Bill calls to tell me I’ve got a water pump, timing belt, basically a whole new cooling system… and the whole thing still came in $50 under budget. I was back on the road with joy in my heart the same evening. Let’s just say… not all heroes wear capes. But this one deff has a cool sidekick!

This is the place for RIALTA! The owner even has one. Very friendly and accommodating. I had a breakdown in My Rialta. They got me back in the road even tho they had a backlog of work. Service like that takes the stress out of traveling cross country in a 23 year old motorhome much easier. And yes they are Affordable. Considering VW isn't always that inexpensive to have repaired.

Honest shop. Bill has gone above and beyond the call of duty. They’ve been in business for years, could have possibly trained half of phoenix’s European mechanics. If you have what they work on, seems like it’d be the only place to go. Fair prices, care about people and know their stuff.
