I first learned of this shop through my dad, who restores chevy/gmc 67-72 trucks. Hoganbuilt has become one of the elite restorers of these models. I contacted their shop in hopes of finding a quality repair shop for my late model HD GMC truck after a tire failure on the interstate did significant damage. I was hoping they might be willing to take on the repair. To my relief, Hogie Shines took on my repair and did an amazing job. I am extremely impressed with the quality of their workmanship. I think it's also important to note that they were amazing to work with as this was an insurance claim and they communicated with my insurance and me very effectively and finished the work right on time. Hogie Shines isn’t just a body shop, they embody the quality and art of doing things right, whether it's restoration of a classic or repair of a late model vehicle. I would highly recommend this shop for the highest quality workmanship.

I am thrilled at the work that Dan and his crew performed on my 2016 Black Tahoe. They painted the faded front hood and polished out a long scratch on the side from a shopping cart. It is PERFECT! I couldn’t be happier. Mark

This company painted my classic truck. There were a few areas on my vehicle with rust. I was told in order to stop the rust from coming back that the metal had to be cut out and new metal had to be welded in. I paid top dollar for a paint job, and the rust started coming back in two weeks! I’m very disappointed with this business. I took my vehicle to them based off Google reviews. Maybe I should have paid attention to the fact that the last good review was over a year ago. Maybe the good painting crew they “supposedly” had isn’t there anymore.

Dan and his wife have been absolutely awesome. I’ve have lots of work done here and he is by far the best painter in AZ. I wouldn’t take my car cars anywhere else. They work fast and knock it out of the park. Don’t waste your time with other shops that will put your cars in “body shop prison.” They’re the real deal here.
